Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1 — 1
- Arrival at Cochin and transfer to Munnar. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the home of South India's highest peak (anamudi-2695 mts). On the way to Munnar visit Valparai, Cheeyappara waterfalls and Tea Plantations. Upon arrival at Munnar, I transferred to the Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities ), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (hemitragus Hilarious)- the mountain goat of South India. You may visit the Tea Museum surrounded by tea Gardens- the only Museum of its kind; which illustrates the timeworn method of Tea production. Evening have a short visit to Munnar town. Overnight stay at Munnar
Day 2 — 2
- After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing, visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundala dam, Eco point, another serene and tranquil spot. This is a must visit place for someone who wants a moment to admire the scenes around and wants to have some fun along the way, echoing his or her voice. Then visit the Tea Museum. Overnight at Munnar
Day 3 — 3
- After breakfast check out from the hotel / resort and proceed to Thekkady. Check into the hotel / resort. Thekkady is India’s largest wildlife sanctuary is a dream destination for any tourist visiting Kerala. Spice plantation tour covering tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantations. Have an amazing boat ride in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar Tiger Reserve. You will have a chance to watch the wild animals like Elephant, Bison, Sambar, Deer etc. are roaming both the shore. Evening visit the local spice market for garden fresh spices. Overnight at Thekkady.
Day 4 — 4
- After morning breakfast driver back to cochin airport or railway station.
